Accommodation
Residents receive a safe environment, security services, three meals a day, sandwiches in the evening, coffee/tea during the day, full laundry service, cleaning of rooms, dispensing of medication, on site nursing services, socialising and participation in activities presented by the Centre
Our Services
Residents at Centre 2 are largely self-sufficient but since the average age of our residents have been increasing over the years – currently 85 years old –greater care demands are made on our nursing staff. This is a trend internationally where retirees live longer in their community before moving to retirement villages.
Activities
During the week our residents enjoy a full program. This entails physical exercise, video shows, bingo, knitting, rummi-cub, religious gatherings, church services, bible study, tuck-shop, transport to and from shopping centres and clubs such as the “kuierhoekie” and friendship clubs. We also have a library, hair salon and physiotherapy.
